We started our day at around 8:30 in the morning. First head to the world-famous Heathville Sanctuary, one of Australia's most recognized and acclaimed wildlife sanctuaries. It encompasses 30 hectares of bushland and showcases over 200 species of Australian wildlife in a unique Australian environment. Here visitors can get up close and personal with some of Australia's unique wildlife in their natural habitats, including koalas, kangaroos, wombats, emus, dingoes, birds of prey and platypuses. Then we headed to Yering Station, Victoria’s first vineyard. Enjoy a pre-lunch wine tasting in the original red brick winery (circa 1859) building surrounded by local art and produce. Lunch was served in a stunning modern building. After a relaxing lunch, pass through Bortoli Winery on the Dickson River. Taste great cheeses paired with sparkling, table and dessert wines.
