You'll also visit St George's Chapel - the site of many royal weddings and the resting place of many monarchs, including Queen Elizabeth II and the infamous Henry VIII. Stonehenge As you approach Salisbury Plain, keep an eye out for the mysterious Stonehenge - you'll have the chance to take a close look at this 5,000-year-old monument during your visit to the Neolithic megaliths. St George's Chapel is closed on Sundays as services are held all-day the day. Visitors to the castle on Sundays will not be able to enter the chapel or visit Queen Elizabeth II's grave.
