Château de Chambord is the largest castle in Loire Valley and was constructed by King Francis I of France (1515-1547) to serve as a hunting lodge. Clos Lucé is now a museum and reflects the prestigious history of the region and includes 40 models of the various machines designed by Leonardo. The museum also includes a copy of the Mona Lisa.
