The French National Museum of Natural History, formerly known as the Royal Medicinal Botanical Garden. Now the main branches of the National Museum of Natural History are the Royal Botanic Gardens, the Mineralogieet de Géologie Museum, the Palaeontology and Comparative Anatomy Museum (laGalerie de Paléontologieet dt'AnatomieComparée) and the famous Evolution Museum (laGrandeGalerie delt'Evolution). The Museum Zoo is also located here. From the end of the 20th century to the present, the French National Museum of Natural History has focused on research and education on the impact of human development on the environment.
