Become a prince or princess for a day visiting Berg Eltz and drink Riesling fit for a king or queen. Get out of Frankfurt City and see the green countryside of Germany and marvel at some of the worlds steepest vineyards. After pick up at 9:30 we will drive on the autobahn for about 1.5 and then through some stunning green countryside on our way to Eltz castle which is considered “the most beautiful castle in Europe”, a “fairy tale in stone” A charming castle situated near the Mosel for 900 years. Eltz takes you back to the Middle Ages, with a fabulous treasury and unspoilt forrest surroundings. After a tour of the castle you will be hungry and thirsty so we will head to the Mosel valley to a famous wine village. We will visit a wine tavern where you can try a local of schnitzel or seasonal products. After lunch we will visit a winemaker to learn about Mosel wine and the king of grapes Riesling. We will visit vineyards offering some magical views for a picture. Cheers!
