The tour starts from the meeting point and continues with the visit to the Roman Forum, considered the real political, commercial, social, and religious center of Rome at the time of the Monarchy and the Republican period. At the center of the Forum, it is possible to walk on the same cobble-stones of the “Via Sacra” (Sacred Way) leading to Capitol Hill and admire the remaining off with its ancient basilicas, triumphal arches, honorary columns, and ancient markets. Continuation of the tour for the visit to The Colosseum (Flavian Amphitheater), its construction began in 70 AD and ended in 80 AD. The Colosseum was intended for fights and games between gladiators, and is composed of four overlapping architectural orders; the first 3 are made up of eighty arches framed by semi-columns, and the fourth is divided into panels interspersed with windows. In the last order, masonry and wooden supports were inserted to support an immense tarpaulin (velarium) for to shelter from the sun and rain.
