One of the true hidden gems of Rome is the Basilica of San Clemente, a basilica built on top of a church that was converted from an ancient Roman house. Travel back in time with each level that the tour will go down: from a 12th-century basilica to a 4th-century church to a 3rd-century Mithrauem to finally a Roman house from the Roman Republic era. The first part of the tour will cover the Basilica, while the second part will descend to Mithrauem and the archeological site.
