We'll start in Piazza di Spagna, where you'll learn everything there is to know about this square and why it is called like this (you'll be surprised!). In Piazza di Spagna we'll meet the first fountain of the tour. This is where we'll begin a journey through the aqueducts of Rome! In fact this fountain is still fed today by an ancient Roman aqueduct built in 19BC! From here we'll follow the aqueduct which is, for the most part, underground. That is why during this walking tour we'll get to go underground on a couple of occasions to see the actual aqueducts and its water still flowing through it! We'll in fact follow the track of this aqueduct until its very end: the Trevi fountain. This fountain is the monumental ending to the aqueduct. But we won't stop here. We'll get away from the crowds, turn the corner and discover the underground water reservoir that the ancient Romans built over 2000 years ago! And finally you'll learn where all the water of the Trevi fountain comes from!
