The Bear Farm, located near the entrance of the Showa Shinzan cable car, raises more than 100 purebred Hokkaido brown bears. Brown bears are the largest wild mammals in Hokkaido. Brown bears can be fed at the Bear Farm. When they see food, they stand up and wave to visitors. They are very cute. It is said that the horse oil here is very useful. It has a vast and beautiful flower field covering an area of 15 hectares, like a colorful rainbow carpet, with different flowers in different seasons. Every year from the end of May to the end of October, more than 30 kinds of flowers, including tulips, lavender, and sunflowers, bloom on the rolling hills. From a distance, the colorful flowers look like a painter's palette. There is also a giant scarecrow standing in the flower field, which is very cute. Check in at the popular Christmas tree The name "Shirahige Falls" comes from the white beard-like water that pours down from the cracks in the rocks. The water gushing out from the ground hits the rocks, stirring up waves that glow blue. In the summer, the mountains and rivers are green, and in the winter, it is covered with snow.
