[Amanohashidate]Located on the northern coast of Kyoto, Amanohashidate is famous for being one of the three most beautiful sights in Japan. Due to the pushing of the earth's crust, a sandbar about 3.6 kilometers long was formed on the sea, with more than 8,000 pine trees on it. Amanohashidate means "bridge to heaven" because when you look down from the mountains on both sides of the sandbar, it looks like a passage connecting heaven and earth. [Ine Funaya]Ine is famous for its unique funaya, or boat houses. These wooden buildings are located right on the water and serve as both docks and homes for fishermen. Today, there are approximately 230 funaya houses, stretching along 5 kilometers of coastline. It is considered one of Japan's most scenic villages. [ArashiyamaLocated in the northwest of Kyoto, the area attracts many tourists with its world-famous bamboo forests and beautiful scenery that changes with the seasons. The area is dotted with temples, ancient imperial villas, and famous historical sites, many of which are national treasures or even recognized as world heritage sites. The entire area has been designated as a scenic spot. [Miho MuseumPei created an evocative and tranquil passage for the museum, inspired by the paradise described in the Peach Blossom Spring by the ancient Chinese poet Tao Yuanming. Visitors walk along a walkway surrounded by weeping cherry trees, through a tunnel, and across a suspension bridge to the museum. About 80% of the Miho Museum is built underground to protect the surrounding natural environment. Most of the building is hidden from view on the mountainside.
