Enjoy the beautiful scenery of the northern coast of Kyoto, stroll through Amanohashidate Observation Deck, one of the "Three Views of Japan", and feel the wonderful scenery of nature. At the Funaya in Ine, you can enjoy the nostalgic beautiful scenery of Japan and spend a special time different from the daily life. ▴[Amanohashidate]Amanohashidate is famous for being one of the three most beautiful sights in Japan. Due to the pushing of the earth's crust, a sandbar about 3.6 kilometers long was formed on the sea, with more than 8,000 pine trees on it. Amanohashidate means "bridge of heaven" because when you look down from the mountains on both sides of the sandbar, it looks like a passage connecting heaven and earth. On the other side of the bay is Kasamatsu Park, which can be reached by cable car. For more than a thousand years, in order to enjoy the beautiful bay view, locals have been using the same posture, that is, bending down and looking upside down between their legs to enjoy the scenery. The sandbar is like a giant dragon rising into the sky. ▴[Ine Funaya]Ine is famous for its unique funaya, or boat houses. A small town of about 1,900 residents, Ine Funaya is a peaceful place nestled between the mountains and Ine Bay. These wooden buildings were built right on the water and served as both docks and homes for fishermen. Today, there are about 230 funayas, stretching along 5 kilometers of coastline. It is considered one of Japan's most scenic villages.
