At Funaya in Ine, you can enjoy the nostalgic beauty of Japan. Visit Miyama to learn about the history and traditions of this traditional village, hike to a hidden waterfall, Riding and raft. ▴[Amanohashidate]Amanohashidate is famous for being one of the three most beautiful sights in Japan. Due to the pushing of the earth's crust, a sandbar about 3.6 kilometers long was formed on the sea, with more than 8,000 pine trees on it. Amanohashidate means "bridge of heaven" because when you look down from the mountains on both sides of the sandbar, it looks like a passage connecting heaven and earth. On the other side of the bay is Kasamatsu Park, which can be reached by cable car. For more than a thousand years, in order to enjoy the beautiful bay view, locals have been using the same posture, that is, bending down and looking upside down between their legs to enjoy the scenery. The sandbar is like a giant dragon rising into the sky. ▴[Miyama]Famous for its traditional Japanese thatched roof farmhouses. Miyama has 200 huts, and unlike most of Japan, most are private residences. Many residents are artisans, skilled in practical skills such as basket weaving and thatching. Miyama offers fresh mountain air, a quiet atmosphere and a nostalgic feel, making it a great place to escape from the hustle and bustle. ▴[Ine Funaya]Ine is famous for its unique funaya, or boat houses. A small town of about 1,900 residents, Ine Funaya is a peaceful place nestled between the mountains and Ine Bay. These wooden buildings were built right on the water and served as both docks and homes for fishermen. Today, there are about 230 funayas, stretching along 5 kilometers of coastline. It is considered one of Japan's most scenic villages.
