After exchanging this voucher for a paper ticket, designated seats can be issued. How to reserve a designated seat: • Find a JR ticket machine (green machine) at the station and insert your paper ticket into the slot labeled "Ticket・Commuter Pass". • Click the "Reserve a seating" button on the upper left of the screen, and then press the "Reserve a seating using a coupon" button that lights up on the next screen. • If you have multiple passengers, you can reserve seating for up to 4 passengers at a time. Please insert the tickets of your traveling passengers one by one and press the "Insert Complete" button at the end. • Search for available trains and enter the departure station, arrival station, departure time or desired destination time in order. (The date of use is limited to the date written on the ticket) • After entering all the information and confirming that it is correct, tap the "Search" button. Select the train you wish to take. Confirm again that the selected train is the one you wish to take. If it is correct, tap the "Confirm" button. • When the buttons for selectable equipment light up, tap the button you want to select and choose the seating you want to sit in. • After all reservation operations have been completed, please confirm the reservation details again. If confirmed, please tap the "Confirm" button and the ticket machine will issue you a ticket for the reserved designated seating. After successfully exchanging for the physical ticket, you can use it directly at the automatic ticket gate. ※ Reserved seat tickets can be exchanged once. Reserved seats must be exchanged separately (reserved at the green machine or green window). If the reserved seat is not available due to full seats, the difference between the unreserved seat and the reserved seat cannot be refunded.
