Before the pass is linked and activated in the app: This pass is valid for 11 months from the date of issuance (purchase) and must be activated during this period (except for promotional products as otherwise specified). It will be void after the expiration date. For example, if the pass is purchased on January 1, the pass is valid for 11 months from January 1 before activation. The pass can be activated on any day within 11 months. 2. After activating the pass by linking it to the app: [Continuous] The validity period of the pass starts from the first travel date selected when the pass is bound to the APP, and the pass must be used for N consecutive days. For example, if you purchased a continuous 15-day Option on January 1st, and you chose to start using it on February 1st when binding the APP, the validity period will be calculated from February 1st selected during activation and will expire on February 15th. [Flexible] From the first travel date selected when linking the pass to the app, the pass can be used on any N days within X months, based on the pass validity period and number of days. For example, if you purchase a flexible Option that allows you to use the app for any 4 days within a month, and you choose to start using it on February 1st when binding the app, the validity period will be within one month starting from February 1st, and you can choose any 4 days to use it. [How to Activate & Deactivate a Eurail Pass](1) Please download the Eurail/Interrail Rail Planner App and activate your pass within 11 months of purchase. The activation date of your pass is the start date you select when you activate your pass using the Rail Planner App, and your pass is valid from that date. (2)Activation steps: • Step 1: Enter your last name and the pass number sent by Trip.com to add a pass • Step 2: Create a new itinerary or select an existing itinerary in the app, then link the itinerary to the pass • Step 3: Enter your passport/ID number and select the first travel date to activate your pass. Please note that you will not be able to take the train if you do not activate your pass. If you have multiple tickets on your phone, please note the following: • Each pass requires a separate itinerary in the app • If an itinerary has been created, you can copy the existing itinerary and link the copy to another pass. Please name each itinerary differently for easy management. • When checking tickets, you need to show a ticket for each member using a pass. Please select other passes in "My Pass" and click "Show ticket". The ticket inspector will scan the QR code and check if the train you are boarding matches the train shown on your ticket. They will also check your personal information and may ask to see your passport or ID card.
