Built on the site of an Arab mosque, the cathedral was built in the 13th century. Today, it is one of the important Gothic cathedrals in Spain. Before entering the cathedral, you can admire its magnificent facade and its soaring bell tower. Visit the interior of the cathedral and its sacristy, which was a former art museum and houses many masterpieces, including fifteen paintings by El Greco. After visiting the Cathedral, we will have some free Activity time in the city to do some shopping or have a coffee. If you prefer to explore Toledo on your own, you will have the opportunity to discover the city at your own pace. Its fascinating blend of cultures will surprise you at every step, and its rich architectural and cultural diversity is breathtaking. You can visit the Church of Santo Tome, which houses one of El Greco's famous works, and immerse yourself in the history of the city, where Christians, Muslims and Jews coexisted. We will then return to Madrid where we will have approximately one hour for lunch. In the afternoon we will head to Segovia. We will park near the Aqueduct, which will be the first monument we encounter in the city. The Aqueduct consists of 167 arches and is considered one of the best preserved in the world. We will have the opportunity to visit the city on foot, which will first take us to the Plaza Mayor. There are several monuments here, such as the Segovia Town Hall or the Juan Bravo Theater, but the protagonist is the Cathedral. We will go inside the Cathedral for a complete guide tour. After visiting the Cathedral, we will have a short free Activity time. The next stop will be the Alcázar, one of the best preserved and famous medieval castles in the world. It is said that it even inspired some of Walt Disney's movies, such as Cinderella's castle or the Queen's castle in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
