We leave Plaza de Conde Casal (Madrid) at 8:30 in the morning accompanied by our guide. Our first stop will be Segóbriga, one of the most important Roman cities in the interior of Spain, which maintains some of its most characteristic structures, such as the forum, the thermal baths, the theatre and the amphitheatre. We will continue to one of the greatest attractions in the area, the Lapis Specularis mines. The Romans exploited this material, which was mainly used as window glass and exported throughout the empire as a true luxury item, generating great wealth throughout the mining area. We will have free time in the city of Huete to eat. Finally, we will visit the mosaics of the Roman Villa of Noheda. In this villa you will find the most impressive and extensive historical mosaic preserved from the Roman Empire, with an area of about 300 square metres. After this last visit, we will return to Madrid, where we will arrive at around 7:30 p.m.
