Participants agree to accept the risk by booking.] Chiang Mai Sky Lantern Festival, also known as Yee Peng, is an annual activity that will be held on November 5-6, 2025Held on the full moon night of the second month of the Thai Lanna calendar, it symbolizes the beauty of the full moon, and although the exact date varies each year, during the Nghe Ping Lantern Festival, locals gather at temples to listen to the monks' prayers and offer lanterns as a sign of piety. The festival features the decoration of houses with hanging Khom Loy lanterns, which are lit to pay homage to the Buddha; experience the magical atmosphere of the Nghe Ping Lantern Festival 2025 and join us in celebrating this fascinating activity filled with brightly colored lanterns, cultural traditions and spiritual significance.
