Karen hill tribe has a long relationship with elephants. This relationship has passed on from generation to generation as there is a elephant blessing ritual every year. In the past, elephants are trained for transportation, logging, irrigation, building houses. After the ban of logging in Thailand, elephants and their mahouts turned to tourism. Elephants were to give rides in the past, however, because of elephant conservation and campaign against riding elephants, that has stopped. We would like to invite you to come and spend time with karen mahout to learn how they raise their elephants as a part of their family. Join us on the Elephant Care Program for a holistic adventure that celebrates the Karen culture, the magic of elephants, and the beauty of nature. It’s a journey that will leave you with a deep appreciation for these incredible creatures and the people who share their lives with them. Join us on the Feed & Shower Program for an adventure that combines cultural immersion, wildlife appreciation, and a deep connection with nature. It’s an experience that will leave you with lasting memories and a newfound appreciation for the beauty of the Karen people and their elephant companions.
