Oil Wrestling (Turkish: Yağlı Güreş), This sport, which has been held every year since 1352, is also known as oil wrestling and is a Turkish sport that has its own rituals and special clothes and is only held in Turkey in the world. Wrestlers called pehlivan (pehlivan) cover their entire bodies with oil and try to defeat their opponents on the green grass called the Er Meydanı. Oil wrestling was recorded by Turkey in 2010 on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity and announced to the whole world. We will participate in the stages of these competitions, which are organized in very few numbers in different cities of Turkey throughout the year, organized in Istanbul and the surrounding provinces.
