A 1.5-hour drive will take you to the famous Cu Chi tunnels where you will spend the next couple of hours exploring the area. The Cu Chi tunnels are a complex and layered network of underground tunnels that were dug by hand by Communist forces in Vietnam.The tunnels served as a means of communication, transportation, supply, hiding, and attack for the Viet Cong, who could evade and surprise their enemies. The more adventurous will have the opportunity to crawl through the tunnels and fire off some rounds from Ak47 or M16 assault riffles at the shooting range before driving back to Ho Chi Minh City for lunch at a charming restaurant. After lunch, the tour continues with the visit to the historic landmarks and sites of Ho Chi Minh City such as the Reunification Palace, the War Remnants Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, the Old Post Office, and Ben Thanh Market. The tour will end around late afternoon when you be transferred back to your hotel.
